Common questions
Do you offer a free trial class?
Yes. Every class offers a free trial so your child can come along and try it before you enrol. Choose a class above and book a trial, and Kate will confirm the details with you.
What ages are the classes for?
Classes run for children from 6 to 16, grouped by age: Bright Beginners 6 to 9, Developing Dramatics 7 to 9, Funky Freshies 10 to 13, and Upbeat Up-and-Comers 12 to 16. If you are not sure which class suits your child, email Kate and she will help you choose.
Where are the classes held?
At Our Lady of Fatima Community Centre, 10 Foss St, Palmyra, Perth WA 6157. There is parking on Foss St and Hammad St. Palmyra is a short drive from Bicton, Attadale, Melville, Fremantle and the surrounding suburbs.
What days do classes run?
Musical theatre for the younger and older groups runs on Wednesday afternoons, and drama and the senior musical theatre group run on Thursday afternoons. The exact time for each class is shown on the class above.
Does my child need any experience?
No experience is needed. Classes are small and supportive, and are built to grow confidence, stage skills and friendships whatever your child is starting from.
What does my child do in class?
Musical theatre classes cover singing, acting and dance, and drama classes focus on acting and performance skills. Each year builds towards a full production, so children work on real performance pieces across the terms.
